Kentucky Association of Hospice and Palliative Care
The Kentucky Hospice License Plate has Arrived!
The Kentucky Association of Hospice and Palliative Care has received approval from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet to issue its first specialty license plate. Registration is easy and affordable, so join the throngs of motorists in the Commonwealth who have acted as moving billboards for their cause or organization, and apply for the Hospice license plate today!
In order to begin production of the plate, the Commonwealth requires a prepaid commitment from 900 individuals within the course of one year. Each application costs $28 at the time of submission, and a $6 payment must be made to your County Clerk at the time you pick up your new plate. The Association is asking you make a voluntary $10 contribution that will be used for continuing education, marketing and outreach efforts. The $34 total charge for the plate is a one-time expense that is only $13 more than the fee you already pay as part of your regular initial registration. Subsequent annual registrations are the same for your specialty plate as they are for a regular license plate, plus the voluntary $10 contribution.
